G is for....

Girls
My G was originally for 'grateful' but blogger did something and it erased the whole posting, its gone. it didnt return. I wasnt thrilled with the post so hey a re-do!!

ok, back to Girls I have almost 3 of them!
I love them dearly,
I love dressing them up,
I love playing with their hair,
I love the sweetness and the love they have.
The tenderness.Compassion. warmth.

I can see it already though, as my 3 year old is getting older, the competing has started! The bickering!

Im a girl. I know how we work. I know we compete. I know the jealousy. The need to feel wanted, to feel loved. To feel accepted. Cherished. I KNOW THIS.

My prayer for my daughters is that they find and love Jesus, and that they find everything they need in Him! I pray that as their parents we guide them, we protect them. We help keep their innocence as long as possible! 8 year olds getting botox IS NOT OK. Padded bikinis and thongs made for 8 year old, again NOT OK! My daughter needs to be able to be a kid for as long as possible, she will be a grown up for a very long time! My motto for my kids is 'Sheltered, but not naive!'
Im afraid of what they are gonna have to go through, what this earth is turning into!

At 8 I hope my daughters are playing house. Being princess'. Playing cops and robbers.
Not worrying about botox, or the shape of their bodies!

F is for....

Friends
They are hard to come by. True ones that is.
The ones I have I love dearly.

The past few months I have been a terrible friend.
I know, I know, I have a lot going on.
Being pregnant takes a TON out of you.
BUT a simple how are you doing, whats going on...
anything to just let them know I am thinking about them.
I have been so selfish and self engorged.

With #3 coming, I feel like Ive made myself such an outcast. What am I gonna do! I feel set aside.
WOW this post is getting strange!

Earlier today I was thinking about how I got my brows threaded last week.
(BTW such a wonderful wonderful thing!!!)
I thought it would be a GREAT thing that maybe to make a thing out of it, once a month, maybe a Saturday morning, leave the kids at home with daddy, and get a cup of coffee, get our brows done, maybe a pedi. be home in time for lunch to spend the rest of the day with our families. What do you think? whose in? (Work it into the budget somehow)

I think friends are a huge part of our lives.
People you can trust and confide in.
Having love and support.
There are just so many things friends are great for!

For my dear friends that are reading this, I love ya!

(again if this is a strange post. its 1am and Im extremely TIRED!!!!)

E is for.....

Emersyn
My second born!
My precious precious girl!

This little girl has the sweetest personality.
She loves to hug, and give kisses.
She was born at 6 pounds 14 ounces. 19 inches long.

Born with just skin and bones.
She had no bottom. It was flat. non existent. It didnt fit into this family.
Now 14 months later, she has a little bubble. She is still a wee one. Small for her age, and I LOVE EVERY little piece of her tiniestness (SOOOO not a word!)

She makes the cutest faces, is SOOO happy, social, and I love her to pieces!

Im sure I should have tons more to write, Im just so tired, as is my life lately, and my brain just doesnt work correctly right now.
Here are some photos of her first year:

D is for....

Delivery....

I had a post started a few days ago for D, I might do 2 D's.
Thursday started the wedding activities, my sister and I went to lunch, ran a few errands, picked up her dress, picked up another bridesmaid, we got our eyebrows threaded. Then headed for San Clemente. Went to dinner, the bridal party went out, I stayed in the hotel to relax, and read. (BTW Im reading an AMAZING book that Christine recommended, Ive had it less than a week and Im almost done!)
Friday was pretty easy going at first, then it was hair and make-up time, and it was go go go go go.
Wedding was at 5, it was GORGEOUS! Then photos, reception, chasing a 3 year old. At about 10:30 we decided to head home, oddly I felt like I was contracting regularly... I pulled out my handy DROID and  used the Daddy app for keeping track of the contractions. about 3-5 minutes apart!!! I thought it might be Braxton hicks, we got home, I took a shower, they didnt stop, I drank water, Laid down, still no break. I then decided to curl up on bed and try to get some sleep... I couldnt. I called Nick in to take over the tracking... It was WAY consistent and my phone told us to call the DR and head to the hospital. So 1am we called the on call Dr.

The Dr. asked a few questions, one of which was, "Is this your 1st or 2nd baby?" I laughed and said, "3rd" The Dr. instructed us to get to the hospital very quickly! HAHAHA (Both my other girls were early, one 2 weeks, one over 3 weeks.)
Arriving at the hospital I had to pee in a cup, then was being monitored. Labor was confirmed. Contractions kept getting stronger, they gave me a pill to help stop it. We waited what felt like a long time, since that didnt work, they decided to give me a shot. The contractions almost immediately stopped!!! The terrible thing was I got MAJOR shakes, my heart rate went high and it was terrible. She told me before hand that it would probably happen that way. An hour later I was sent home!

PRAISE God! It wasnt time for her to come yet, to soon. I have at LEAST 2 more weeks until its ok. Preferably 3 weeks.

So I didnt deliver, but I thought it was a good D word.... I didnt want to leave you guys hanging to long.
Nick is making me keep it easy, I go to the Doctor on Monday to see if she wants me on bed rest, to see if Im dilated any more. As of like night Im at a 2.

C is for....

Counting the days...
We count the days for so many things!
When we are young we count the days until, our birthdays (I still do!) spring break, Summer vacation, Christmas break.
We count down till prom (I didnt go...)
We count the days until we graduate high school. Until we start our first job!
Then we count the days until we quit that first job.

We then meet that man of our dreams, we count the days until the proposal, until marriage!

My count downs right now are:

  •       until bed time, A few HOURS!! ;o)
  •       until my sister marries the man of her dreams 2 DAYS!!!
  •       until I receive my Target Order 5-7 DAYS!!!What are you
  •       until date night with the sexiest man alive!! 10 DAYS!!!
  •       until the birth of my 3rd daughter 44 (ish) DAYS!!!
  •       until we find out if we are moving to WA 3 days -1 year!!! (most annoying count EVER!)
  •       until Jesus comes and takes us from this Earth! ANY DAY!
I think counting down to things are so important to us! Big or small, a night out, buying shampoo, getting a new eyeshadow! Counting down gives us something to look forward to.

What are you counting down?

B is for...

Blog
I LOVE the idea of blogging.
I LOVE reading blogs. I love when people are honest, real, and themselves.
When people show who they are, their heart. With no fear.

Yet thats the thing, fear, you put yourself out there, and there is the chance of people reading it, judging your every word, your every thought.

As a blogger you risk a lot!

For me the best bloggers are the ones who dont care, who say it how it is, who write about what they believe in and what they love!

Reading blogs for me, is my book reading. Reading the lives of others, feeling connected to someone, supporting one another!

I am trying to do this blog thing, Im trying to be real, Im trying to be who I am. It hard cuz I feel Im at a crossroads, not sure who I am or who I wanna be.

That might be the pregnancy talking!

A is for

Anberlyn! My beautiful first born!
We waited 4 1/2 years to have her! I wanted a boy so badly, I cried when I found out it was a girl. Now I want nothing to do with boys, I want all girls!

She was born 13 days early at a perfect 7pounds 2 ounces, 19.5 inches long!

Contractions Started at bright and early Christmas morning. 4:45 to be exact. We still open gifts at the in-laws and as soon as the last gift was opened we headed to the hospital, arriving about 9am.
I was dilated at 5.5 cm at arrival. At 2:30pm I was fully dilated and it was time to push! She was coming! I was so excited, until 30 minutes had passed, then an hour, 2 hours... At 5:42pm she was finally here. 3 hours of pushing and the use of a vacuum, she was in my arms!

She is now 3 years old. She has brought me such joy. She is smart and very funny.
She is also very stubborn and difficult!
Her new love is reading! She LOVES to sit on her bed and make up stories for each book.
She loves to eat, ANYTHING! Well except spicy food.
A great helper in the kitchen! She loves to help clean up and to do anything Im doing.

She is a wonderful big sister. She loves to run and play in the "field". She is also very very shy, it takes her a little while to warm up to new people,or people she doesnt see often.

She also loves to bite her nails, UGH, and have things a certain way. She remembers EVERYTHING. So if you say she can have a sticker, and you forget to give it to her, she will remind you with screams of terror, from under her blankets at bed time! HAHA
Heres a few photos of my little one! I went a bit over board. They are mostly from her first year!

I love her and for the most part I can get enough of my 3 year old!
